CERHI Attend’s AAU ORGANISED TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE EVOLVING ROLE OF THE 21ST CENTURY ACCOUNTANT, AUDITOR, FINANCE OFFICER, BUDGET HEADS AND COST MANAGERS IN ACCRA, GHANA

The workshop which started on the 27th of November, 2018 kicked off with the introduction of Key Speakers and Attendees by Mr Frank Adjei, the Project Accountant of the Association of African Universities (AAU).

This was then proceeded by a series of teachings by the Key Facilitator, Prof Frimpong on the “Evolving and Dynamic Role of the 21st Century Accountant.”

In the course of the days following, participants (drawn from different parts of Africa) were trained in various areas ranging from Resource Mobilization, Enterprise Development to Research Proposal Writing and a refresher course on Understanding and Preparation of Basic Financial Statements as well as Financial Statement Analysis.

The training workshop came to an end on the 30th of November 2018 after the last series of teachings by the key facilitator, Prof Frimpong with a vote of thanks by a representative of the organisers and male and female representatives of the participants who described the training as an enriching experience.

This was then proceeded by the presentation of certificates to all participants and a group photograph with Key Speakers and Facilitators.
