The 1st management retreat of the Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation features the coming together for both a retreat and training workshop for all PMC Members.

This was scheduled for the 20th and 21st of September, 2017 at the CERHI Main Auditorium located in the New CERHI Building, University of Benin< Ugbowo Campus, Benin City.

WORKSHOP AGENDA

DAY 1, SEPTEMBER 20, 2017

9:00 AM-    Opening Remarks-Objectives of the workshop by Dr. Sede (Project Coordinator)

9:30 AM-  CERHIs Goal, objectives and milestones- a review by the Centre Leader, Professor Friday Okonofua.

10:00 AM- Tea Break

10:30 AM- Building team spirit and review of CERHIs organogram and allocation of responsibilities by Professor Friday Okonofua, Centre Leader.

11:00 AM- Review of CERHIs presentation to World Bank 3rd visiting team to CERHI by Ms. Vivian Onoh, Program Manager

12 NOON- Improving Monitoring and Evaluation Practices in CERHI by Dr. (Mrs) E. Ogboghodo, M&E Officer.

12:30 PM- Integrating CERHI to University of Benin Management structures: the way forward by Mrs. O.A Oshodin, UNIBEN Registrar.

1:00 PM-   Working with regional and international academic and industry partner: Lessons learnt and next steps by Professor Obehi Okojie, Co- Centre Leader.

1:30 PM-   Managing CERHIs offices and setting administrative guidelines and protocols by Dr. Sede and Ms. Vivian Onoh.

2:00 PM-   Lunch

2:30 PM-   Improving students and staff relations in CERHI and strategies for increasing CERHIs intake of international students by Professor O.B. Osadolor, Dean of Students, University of Benin, Professor Ofili, Department of Community Health, Mr. Musa Nget, Gambian MPH student, Department of Community Heath.

3:30 PM-   Financial matters- how can we improve financial approvals in CERHI while abiding with extant University Financial Policies? by Ms. Abhouhien Ebewele, CERHI Project Accountatnt and Procurement Officer.

4:00 PM-   Internal and External Audit in CERHI- CERHI Internal Auditor

4:30 PM-   Closing of the day.
